halloween_jack_o_lanternsGot your costumes ready? May we suggest going as your favorite Action Hero? Ok, ok, if you want to go as a zombie or vampire, go ahead. But you can still be an ACTion hero this Halloween by helping out a few nonprofits collect coats and candy! 

Of course, don't forget the fun events going on around town!

ARHA is having a Nightmare on Alfred Street Halloween Party 
Oct. 31 at 7:00 pm

Philanthropy
  • The Child and Family Network Coat Drive - Sign up to get the name, size and color of a coat for a child in need of a coat. Last day to drop off is November 15. 
  • Carpenter's Shelter will be collecting candy until Oct. 30th for the children to trick or treat within the shelter. 
  • October is also Housing America Month, so hop on a bus with ARHA to learn about housing in Alexandria
