Victory! Alexandria Higher Achievement Scholars Get Precious Field Time Thanks to you

Way to go Team ACTion Alexandria! Thanks to you, we raised $1,000 for Higher Achievement, enough to send 90 Alexandria scholars on 4 well-deserved field trips!

Field trips are critical to the success of Higher Achievement scholars. They are able to build relationships with mentors, interact with the community outside the center, and feel recognized and celebrated for their academic achievement.

This success wouldn't have been possible without a $500 match from the RunningBrooke Fund, ACTion's biggest supporter! So far, the RunningBrooke Fund has provided $3,000 in matching funds to local nonprofits through ACTion Alexandria! We can't thank Brooke Curran enough for her support!

We can always count on Give Back Alexandria to support our actions. In February, Give Back Alexandria donated $300 to our diaper drive action for Community Lodgings. And this week, Give Back Alexandria donated $100 toward our Higher Achievement action. Thanks Give Back, you're our ACTion Heroes!
