Velocity Bicycle Cooperative, located in Mount Vernon, encourages Alexandrians through bicycle workshops, community bike rides, and youth programs, to bike more and have fun!

Velocity Coop hopes to build a lively and prosperous bicycle community in Alexandria.

• Youth programs

• Training classes in bicycle maintenance
• Open Shop hours for do-it-yourself bike maintenance repair, supported by experienced volunteers
• Same day bicycle maintenance services (scheduled; during weekdays only)
• Used bicycle recycling

How You Can Get Involved

• Volunteer or Donate: Since all employees are volunteers, it is essential that Velocity Coop receive your donations in order to continue its operations. Real people work for Velocity Coop and play a significant part in its endeavors. Volunteers are always needed.
