Christ Church of Alexandria

The Lazarus Ministry helps promote self-sufficiency and independence by helping low income individuals access and maintain housing, and employment. The ministry also aids individuals in crisis by providing food, medical supplies, utilities, rent money, transportation money, and clothing.

Community Lodgings

In 1987, Community Lodgings was founded by 8 Alexandria churches and purchased five apartment buildings in the Arlandria community. Since then, our organization has grown to provide housing for 46 homeless and low-income families. Our Transitional Housing Program (THP) provides housing and intensive case management for up to 14 homeless families at a time over a 2-year period.

Community Partners for Children

Community Partners for Children is an all volunteer, community-based,  501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Alexandria, Virginia, and has dedicated itself to assisting children in need since 1991.
